Woman trapped after Mawson crash

A WOMAN is trapped in wreckage after a car crash at a shopping centre in Canberra’s south.

The collision occured at Southlands Shopping Centre on Mawson Drive just before 3pm.

Westbound lanes of Mawson Drive has been closed while firefighters work to free the woman and intensive care paramedics stabilise her.

ACT Ambulance paramedics have also assessed four patients at the scene. Two women were transported to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
