WARMING winter celebrations are planned at Belconnen Arts Centre this Saturday, July 20, with local products and produce from local artisans, snacks and local musicians.
The foyer at the Arts Centre will be transformed into a marketplace, with almost 20 stallholders, who will offer chocolates, wine, jewellery, ceramics, artworks, prints, paper products, felted and knitted clothing, textile products, rainmakers and dream-catchers.
All products are hand made by stallholders who include Alena Art Studio; Alice Leda Pettirosso; Annette Boyd; August and Kevin Cole; Brenda Clough; Canberra Region Feltmakers; FibreStudio Design; Julie Ryder; Lambert Winery; Melanie Olde; Michael Ashley; Sarah Hogwood; Paperart; Paperworks; Robyn Rowe Chocolates; Stuart the Cat Designs; Seraglio Designs and 2 Chooks.
The Vietnamese School will be cooking up fresh Vietnamese food and a local musicians, including the centre’s resident choir, Shades of Monday, will be performing live music.
