Paper wings to soar at ADFA on Monday

paper wings

ON Monday the 2015 Red Bull Paper Wings Canberra “qualiflyer” is taking place at the Australian Defence Force Academy. It’s open to anyone over 18.

For the first time ever, the Red Bull Paper Wings is being held at ADFA, where hopeful paper pilots will be allowed one shot to fold a paper plane and fly it the longest, furthest or most acrobatically.

Three overall winners from the Australian ‘qualiflying’ rounds will be flown to Salzburg for the finals, to be held in Austria on May 8th & 9th, for the opportunity of a lifetime to represent Australia in the Red Bull Paper Wings International Final and compete against their contemporaries from more than 70 countries.

11:00am – 2pm; Monday 30th March 2015 (participants to register at 10:30am), Indoor Sports Centre Annex at the Australian Defence Force Academy
