Sullivan serenades friends

Fiona Sullivan

RAISED in Canberra, Fiona Sullivan now lives in Sydney. She graduated from the ANU in operatic voice in 2001 and spent the first five years of her professional career touring as a singer with corporate show bands, as one of the Ten Sopranos, backing European singing sensation Helmut Lotti and in the Wiggles TV program, “The Kingdom of Paramithi”.

She is featured on Simon Burke’s album “Something About Always”.

Now she is back in town at Teatro Vivaldi with “Friends Without Benefits”, accompanied on the baby grand by Bev Kennedy, who has worked on professional productions such as “Billy Elliot”, “Mamma Mia” and “Jersey Boys”.

It’s about Sullivan’s experiences looking for a place in a new city with a new job and having nowhere to turn but to your friends. And that can be very funny.

One night only at Teatro Vivaldi, in the ANU Arts Centre building, November 26. Dinner and Show: $70, $80, $90, bookings to 6257 2718.
