Dr Webb named Volunteer of the Year

DR MARY Webb has been named the ACT Volunteer of the Year for her work with multiple sclerosis in the community.

Dr Webb, who was nominated by Multiple Sclerosis Limited, has provided volunteer services to people in Canberra with multiple sclerosis, including having served on various advisory bodies over the years.

The ACT Volunteer Team of the Year went to Adult Migrant English Program Home Tutor Scheme. The scheme, which has about 150 volunteers that assist people from different cultures and with different levels of literacy, was nominated by the CIT Vocational College.
