Harvest Festival fun

LOCAL produce, music acts and workshops will be part of the Canberra Harvest Festival that promotes and celebrates local food.

The festival will be held at the Canberra Environment Centre on Saturday, March 31 from 12pm and along with local fresh produce will include entertainment from The Wedded Bliss, The Cashews, James Fahy Trio and Beth n Ben.

There will also be a gourmet barbecue and a variety of local organic food and drink. The festival will also host free sustainable living workshops including: No-Dig Gardening, Making Compost Tea and Keeping Bees. And the “Kid’s Biggest and Best Organic Fruit and Vegetable Competition” for children aged four to 12.
