Wild weather wreaks havoc

ACT Emergency Services say they have received 21 calls for help since midday yesterday, following wild and windy weather in the capital.

Emergency Services worked with Fire and Rescue overnight to complete jobs, mostly for damaged trees and brances, with minor damage reported.

The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled the Severe Weather Warning for the ACT.

Residents who need assistance can call Emergency Services on 132-500.
