AS another frosty winter hits the capital, Garema Place’s Skate in the City makes its return this month for the third consecutive year.
This year’s event includes a few new additions, including The Snowbox, designed for under-fives to build equipment in fake snow, and Centenary-themed activities.
Other regular features, including the top 100 dance music party, Saturday night dress up themes and Cultural Sundays, will make their return.
Surrounding cafes and restaurants will be offering discounts for those who have visited Skate in the City and free transport will be available on the Centenary Loop Route 100 bus, stopping at Canberra’s main attractions for tourists and locals to visit.
