THE IMB Sunset Cinema at the Australian National Botanic Gardens is up and running, but there’s more to it than just movies.

Sunset Cinema organisers have announced that they’ll be holding “Tunes on Thursdays” every Thursday night, starting tomorrow, November 21. The idea is for local musicians to play live music prior to the feature film screening. To kick off they’ve chosen local two-time ARIA nominee Guyy Lilleyman for a live acoustic set prior to screening the film “Before Midnight”.

As well, there will be music performances on Saturday nights. The full list of “Tunes” is below.

Screening from November 15 to December 21, 4 nights per week, the season will offer its guests a mix of movies, live music, food and a licensed bar.
