A teenager was arrested yesterday morning at a house in Canberra’s south where police found a firearm and stolen property.
Police from Tuggeranong went to the house on Saturday after receiving a report about gun paraphernalia, which they found and confiscated.
Officers returned to the house yesterday morning and located a firearm and stolen property after the occupants consented to another search.
The teenager was arrested and taken to ACT Watch House, where he was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of stolen property.
He will appear before the ACT Children’s Court today.
