R U OK gets funding extension

Opposition Leader Zed Seselja

CANBERRA’S Senator Zed Seselja has welcomed the extension of funding to the R U OK foundation.

“As an Ambassador for the organisation I believe that support for R U OK? is vital,” stated Senator Seselja. “Mental illness affects over half of the Australian population over the course of their lifetime and it is important that we support services that reach out to these people.”

With the mission of the foundation to simply get more people asking each other if they are indeed OK one hopes sufficient funding remains to provide treatment when the answer is “no”.
