police

ACT Policing has charged a 17-year-old teenager with drug trafficking offences after executing a search warrant at a residence in Higgins today (Tuesday, May 19).

Around 7.15am, Criminal Investigations officers from the Crime Targeting Team executed the warrant after a lengthy investigation into the use of the internet to order illicit drugs online.

During the execution of the warrant, officers seized a number of items including computer equipment.

At the conclusion of the warrant, the youth was conveyed to the ACT Policing Watch House. He was released on Watch House bail under strict conditions and will face the ACT Childrens Court at a later date.
