Frocktober Canberra Style

The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation’s fundraising month Frocktober has been a smashing success in our nation’s capital, with ladies and gents throughout Canberra raising over $15, 000 at last count.

Ovarian cancer is one of the most common for Australian women, with very high mortality rates due to its advanced state in frequently late detection.

Over the weekend the “CityNews” ladies hosted a small backyard tea party, raising more than $1000 in donations to help researchers find an early detection test for ovarian cancer.

Hello, cake and tea and home-made lemonade!

But it’s not over yet, the “CityNews” teal Enchante frock is now up for auction on e-bay and we are accepting donations.

Not to mention Canberra Frocktober’s Finale Party, which kicks off this Sunday at Flint Dining Room.

Attend, bid, donate. Get into the Frocktober action.

For inspiration check out some hot Canberra frockettes who have worn a different dress every day this month.
