A 59-year-old Canberra businessman from Griffith was arrested yesterday for drug offences.
ACT Police yesterday concluded a controlled operation on the importation of an illegal substance in which police put in place a substitute material.
At about 7pm last night, the SRS Tactical Response team forcefully entered a premises on Barrier Street, Fyshwick and found the substitute material, thought to be the boarder-controlled drug, on the premises.
The man was arrested and charged with attempt to possess marketable quantity of a boarder-controlled drug.
He faces the ACT Magistrates Court today.
