Robbery at Florey shops

A SECURITY guard was robbed at the Florey shops this morning by two men armed with weapons.

The offenders robbed the security guard of money at about 11.15am and fled towards Evatt.

Police said the area was cordoned off and a short time later two men were taken into custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.

Belconnen Police Station a/Sgt David Wills said the public played an important role in assisting the police locate the two males.
