SPAR Supermarket in Ngunnawal was robbed last night by men carrying knives.
At about 8.55pm, three men approached the entrance of the supermarket on Jabanungga Avenue, Ngunnawal. Police said the men were carrying knives and threatened staff and demanded money from outside the entrance of the supermarket.
Staff handed over a small sum of cash and the offenders fled on foot towards Yarrawonga Street. No one was injured during the robbery.
The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 18 and 20 years, approximately 165cm to 175cm tall, with a slim build and short, light brown, curly hair.
The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 18 and 20 years, and about 185cm to 190cm tall. He has tanned skin, dark coloured hair, hazel coloured eyes and an average build.
The third man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 18 and 20 years, approximately 180cm tall with tanned skin with a thin build.
Any witnesses who may have seen the offenders described above are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Police would also like to speak with anyone who saw a car parked on Yarrawonga Street behind the community building at the Ngunnawal Shops. Information can be provided anonymously.
