2CC talent in radio gongs final

Mike Welsh… head-to-head with Mark Parton again.
2CC presenters Mike Welsh and Mark Parton will again go head-to-head as finalists in the Best Talk Presenter at this year’s national Commercial Radio Awards in Sydney on October 13.

The Canberra talk station has six finalists across the evening’s awards with Welsh also being nominated for Best Current Affairs Presenter.

In the Best Show Producer (Talk Current Affairs) category Parton’s producer Jorian Gardner has been nominated a finalist and he is up against, among others, Welsh’s former award-winning producer Monica Masters.

The station has also been nominated for Best Multi-Media Execution for the 2CC Christmas Lights.
