EUROPEAN-STYLE number plates are now available to Canberra drivers, starting at $400. 
Attorney General Simon Corbell launched a preview of the new plates today (pictured).
The number plates are specially designed for European cars, and will “fit the specifics of a vehicle”.
“These plates come without pre-drilled holes so motorists will be able to drill their own holes to match their vehicle’s unique requirements, and are available in standard, personalised and custom formats,” Mr Corbell said.
The cost of the number plates will start at $400 for standard plates.
