DAY one of the London Olympics has dominated television viewing, attracting an average national audience of 2.867 million.
Viewer numbers in Southern NSW (including the ACT) peaked at 283,670 in the early evening, 274,704 in the evening, and 162,093 later in the night.
Day one included coverage of the men’s road race, rowing, swimming, gymnastics and tennis.
