Police still looking for brothel arsonist

POLICE have released security camera images of a man throwing a flaming bottle at a Fyshwick brothel this week in an appeal for information from the public.

About 1.10am on Tuesday, May 8, police were called to the Goldcurves brothel after an original report of a fire at the location.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses who say they saw a person throw two flaming bottles at the front door, causing the front of the building to catch alight. The person then fled towards Newcastle Street.

Anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Newcastle Street around 1.10am or who can identify the man in the CCTV footage, should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
