Teen threatens youths with knife in Fadden

A TEENAGER threatened two youths with a knife at the Fadden Pines parkland on Saturday afternoon.

Police say the victims, who are 15 and 11 years old, were jogging through Fadden Pines when they were approached by a male teenager riding a BMX who pulled out a small pocket knife and demanded they hand over cash.

The victims emptied their pockets, but when no money was found the offender rode off.

The offender is described as being around 5’10” (178cm) in height, slim build and tanned skin with dark eyes. He was wearing a black puffy jacket with fur lining in the hood, black track pants and a black flat brim baseball cap.  At the time of the incident, he was riding a BMX bike with orange spokes.

Anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Fadden Pines parkland on Saturday afternoon and witnessed the robbery, or knows someone matching the description of the offender should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
