Call for ladies pairs to enter golf quest

CANBERRA golfing pairs are invited to register for the 2013/14 Auto Club Golf Championship tournament at Federal Golf Club, Red Hill on Thursday, January 24.

The winning pair from each regional event receives travel, accommodation and golf costs for three days to compete in the Championship Final to be held in March at Royal Pines Resort, on the Gold Coast.

All regional players also have the chance to win a new Suzuki car in the Suzuki Hole in One.

NRMA Group CEO Tony Stuart said: “To date, we haven’t had any ladies pairs qualify for the finals, I am hoping more ladies pairs will enter the upcoming events, but there have been several successful husband and wife pairs who have secured themselves a trip to the Gold Coast.”

The 2013/14 Auto Club Golf Championship is open to all amateur golfers, the minimum age is 16. Entry is $60 per pair plus green fees and all entries receive 12 TaylorMade golf balls. NRMA members will also receive a shoe bag.
