Fire at medical centre

A FIRE in the roof of a Belconnen medical centre was quickly extinguished this morning.

ACT Fire & Rescue was called to the building in Totterdell Street at 8.20am.

The fire was caused by a heating unit in the roof space of the building and there was smoke and water damage to the building.
