A MAN escaped serious injury after falling from a moving car on Saturday night.

Police say the 24 year old fell from the left rear passenger window while trying to take a photograph of the back wheel.

Police were called to the property about 9.10pm as the man was being taken to Canberra Hospital, after receiving reports of burnouts at that location a short time before the incident.

The man was charged by police for failing to wear a seatbelt and having part of his body outside the vehicle’s window.
