Police are seeking witnesses to the armed robbery, which happened at about 2.10am today at the 7-Eleven service station in Spence.

The attendant was approached by a masked, knife-wielding man outside the store and made to walk back inside with the offender, who then forced the attendant to open a security door behind the counter.

The robber stole several packets of cigarettes and a small amount of cash before running away in an unknown direction.

The offender is described as a young man in his late teens to early 20’s with green eyes and a slim build, between 5’9” and 5’11” tall (175-180cm).

He was wearing a blue hoodie, black tracksuit pants, a black mask, white or grey runners and white gloves.

Anyone who can help with the investigation can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or by going to act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
