Teen ‘forced drugs’ on woman

A Queanbeyan man will face court after he tried to force drugs down a woman’s throat in a Civic nightclub early yesterday morning.

Around 3.30am the 19-year-old man allegedly had been speaking to a woman he knew and forced a capsule believed to contain methamphetamine (MDMA) into her mouth.

The woman was able to remove the partially dissolved capsule from her mouth and alerted security.

Police searched the man and seized 43 capsules and two tablets believed to contain MDMA, as well as one gram of cocaine.

The man will face ACT Magistrates Court this morning on charges of Common Assault, as well as Trafficking, Supplying and Possessing a Prohibited Substance.
