Woman faces court over Chisholm burglary

A 27-year-old Gungahlin woman who allegedly burgled a Chisholm home will face court this morning.

It is alleged that on Tuesday the woman smashed a window to gain entry to the premises.

The resident of the property returned home later that day to find a number of items had been removed, including electronic goods and cash.

Last night police were conducting patrols in the Gungahlin area when they identified the woman walking around the Gungahlin Marketplace.

She was arrested on a warrant and taken to the ACT Watch House where she was charged with burglary and theft.

This woman had been a person of interest to ACT Policing since August this year.

She will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning in relation to this matter and a number of other charges.
