Woman assaulted near Lake Burley Griffin

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted near Lake Burley Griffin last week.

Sometime between 8.30pm and 10.30pm on Sunday, April 7, the woman was assaulted near Mr Spokes Bike Hire on Lake Burley Griffin.

People were seen in the area at the time and police are appealing for them to come forward with any information they have.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident around Lake Burley Griffin on the evening of Sunday (April 7), or who may have information, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
