FOR the few Canberrans relying on digital radios it will no doubt be distressing to hear the ABC has lost it’s broadcast due to a power outage at Telstra Tower.
“In the early hours of this morning, a power outage at Black Mountain Tower has affected Digital Radio services across Canberra,” a spokesperson said.
“As a result, all ABC Digital Radio services in Canberra are temporarily interrupted.
“The ABC is attending to the interruption and is doing everything possible to have it restored for Canberra listeners as soon as possible. The ABC will continue to keep listeners informed of any change.
“Analogue radio services have not been affected and can be accessed on-air, streaming online and using the ABC Radio App on mobile devices as usual.”
CANBERRA Liberals are demanding no money be taken from the SPIRE project following a suggestion that $5 million from the Canberra Hospital project may be reallocated to “corporate functions” within Major Projects Canberra.
