Canberra’s Sirens off to the Cheerleading Nationals

CANBERRA’S cheerleading squad “Sirens” is gearing up for the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation’s All-Star Nationals on the Gold Coast from November 28-30.

Top cheerleaders and dancers from every State across Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia will converge on the Gold Coast for the event.

With 7500+ competitors the AASCF Nationals is the largest all star cheer & dance championship in the world outside the USA.

Teams will battle it out over three days of competition from 7am-10pm in three competition halls to see who will be crowned the the AASCF National Champions

12 bids will be awarded to the USASF/IASF Cheer & Dance World Championships for the chance to compete against the world’s best in Orlando, Florida in April 2015.

Our own Sirens are getting ready with a pep rally to be held on Sunday November 23 at Canberra City Gymnastics Club, 4pm-6.30pm.

Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time at AASCF Nationals and brought home some trophies, national champ jackets and plenty of photos and happy memories 🙂 We have Tryouts on 6 Dec for new competitive athletes!
