KPMG and Crown Project Services to drive courts redevelopment partnership

supreme court

Simon Corbell has announced the first steps towards the redevelopment of the ACT’s Courts by a Public-Private Partnership.

“KPMG has been selected as commercial adviser while Lloyd Esau of Crown Project Services will oversee the procurement of the territory’s first Public Private Partnership contract as the project director,” Simon said.

“It is expected the new facilities will contain eight courtrooms (five of which will be jury trial enabled), an expanded single custodial facility, best practice child and protected witness facilities, a single public entry point and counter, and a separate jury reception and orientation area.”

The project is now moving towards seeking bidders for the contract.
