A 27-year-old Banks man will face court today charged with robbery, assault, and making a demand with a threat to kill following an incident in Gungahlin earlier this month.
Police say a man was assaulted and his car was stolen in Gungahlin on Thursday January 16, following what is believed to be a dispute over money.
On Saturday afternoon police executed a search warrant in Palmerston, on a car belong to the assaulted man, arresting two men and seizing the vehicle.
The man appearing in court today has been charged with aggravated robbery, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and make demand, with threat to kill. Police will oppose bail.
