Electric bicycle and rider down in Bruce

ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to a bicycle incident that occurred in Bruce this morning (Monday, January 5).

Around 8.00am a woman was injured after falling from her battery assisted electric bicycle while riding in the city-bound lanes near Bruce.

The woman was conveyed to The Canberra Hospital by ACT Ambulance Services with serious head injuries. The incident is currently being investigated by ACT Police.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
