Signs of spring 2015

WHILE the overnight minimums are still rock-breakingly low, the next few days show some exciting maximums and the promise of t-shirt weather for the brave!

It was cold overnight, but the mercury is soaring right now to a forecast 16 degrees.

Tomorrow night is also going to be freezing, but we’re promised a Friday maximum of 18 which is the sort of warmth that gets one singing along to the lucksmiths.

Saturday’s looking at a range of positive six to a balmy 20 before we return to the pretty tolerable weather of the last few weeks.

Some rain is forecast for Saturday mind you but in general it’s going to be the warmest weekend Canberra has seen in a while.

The downside is those of us with lawns are going to need to start thinking about the mowing.
