Dirty water for Pialligo

tap water

ICON Water crews will be conducting necessary works to allow for a new section of water mains off the Majura Parkway on Tuesday 29 March 2016 and Wednesday 30 March 2016. The works may lead to possible water discolouration to customers in Pialligo.

“Icon Water will endeavour to minimise any impact to the community throughout this essential work,” a spokesperson said.

“It is not recommended that you drink the water if it appears, tastes or smells objectionable. Customers experiencing discoloured water are advised not to use washing machines and dishwashers as it may stain clothing or clog filters.

“Whilst it is difficult to predict to what degree the water will be affected, Icon Water advises that any discolouration should clear with normal use. If you are experiencing any issues as a result of discolouration after Wednesday 30 March 2016, please call 02 6248 3111 and select option 1.

“Icon Water would like to take this opportunity to apologise to our customers in the affected area for any inconvenience this necessary work may cause.”
