Human remains found in Bruce

ACT Policing is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding an unidentified body found in Bruce this afternoon (Saturday 2 April).

About 2pm, Police responded to a call to Agar Street, Bruce and located the remains of a deceased person in bushland.

A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and the identity of the body.

Investigations are ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
