Dog kills woman in Watson

A WOMAN has died and a man is in hospital following a dog attack in Watson early this morning (October 25). 

Police were called to the house at about 3.40am, after reports that a man and a woman were being attacked by a dog.

Whilst attempting to provide a first aid response to the woman, the dog attacked police at which point officers were forced to draw their firearms and kill the dog.

The woman died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the attack and the man was taken to hospital.


Investigations are ongoing.
