Shots fired and vehicles alight in Kambah

POLICE and ACT Fire and Rescue were called to Chirnside Place in Kambah early this morning (July 7) after shots were fired and three vehicles were set alight at one of the houses. 

The incident was reported at around 2am and is believed to be Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) related.

Detective superintendent of criminal investigations Ben Cartwright says it was fortunate that no one was injured during this incident.

“ACT Policing’s Taskforce Nemesis will be investigating this incident and following all leads of enquiry,” he says.
