Suspicious death in Rivett

A MAN has died under “suspicious circumstances” in Rivett today (December 17).

About 5.20am, police were called to a house following a report of a disturbance where they discovered a man who had suffered critical injuries.

Police administered first aid and called for an ambulance, but the man died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation begun.

Meanwhile police are looking to talk with anyone who has information about suspicious activity in the vicinity of Goodenia Street, Rivett, between 3am and 6am to call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
