Arts editor HELEN MUSA shares Canberra’s newest gallery openings

“TWITTER Art Exhibit 18” is a rare international art show, now open for viewing at Strathnairn. All entries, postcard-sized paintings,  are available for sale, after the official opening at 2pm, on Saturday, April 7. Michael Milton OAM – Australian Paralympic, Olympian Athlete and Patron of Pegasus Riding for the Disabled ACT – will be the guest speaker. The exhibition continues at Strathnairn Arts, 90 Stockdill Drive Holt, Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, until April 29. Free entry to launch but registrations advisable to

SKYE Jamieson is a Canberra artist who graduated from the ANU School of Art and is interested in water and the incessant appearance of blue in a developed environment. Her solo exhibition runs at the Canberra Contemporary Art Space, Furneaux Street, Manuka, from April 5–15.
