OVER a thousand people recently gathered at the National Convention Centre to recognise the “excellence in craftsmanship, quality, safety and building construction” in Canberra.
The annual Master Builders ACT “Building Excellence Awards”, which was on June 29, acknowledged many projects across the local building and construction community such as a house in Denman Prospect and the Brindabella Christian College Junior School.
CEO of Master Builders ACT Michael Hopkins said the awards highlighted a number of themes seen in various entries and nominated finalists.
“Innovation in building has seen the creation of spaces that will influence the lives of Canberrans in areas such as education, health and community,” he said.
“The finalists and winners of these projects should be proud to have played their part in evolving our city.”
