Car tips in an attempt to evade police
IN an attempt to evade police, a Land Cruiser drove through a safety fence before tipping onto its side at McDonald’s restaurant in Belconnen yesterday (September 13). 

Three people, a Phillip woman, 24, a Richardson man, 21, and a Latham woman, 22, were arrested at about 2.30pm.

A fourth offender fled after assaulting a police officer.

The trio will face 11 charges including driving a vehicle without consent, common assault, aggravated reckless driving and possessing ammunition.
