A FOUR hectare ecological burn is scheduled tonight, March 21, at Gungaderra Creek, Barton Highway.
Subject to favourable weather conditions, the ACT Rural Fire Service will begin the ecological burn at 6.30pm.
ACTRFS will remain onsite for the duration of the ecological burn, departing once the burn area has been blacked out.
The burns will reduce fire fuel loads to protect our community and improve ecosystem health.
