Man dies after car explosion

A MAN has died in hospital following a car explosion in Conder yesterday (August 2).

The man, 51, was treated on the scene on Heidelberg Street at about 4.55pm before being taken to hospital in a critical condition with multiple injuries.

He later died from his injuries in hospital.

WorkSafe attended and are also conducting an investigation into the incident.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information to contact 1800 333000, or via the website using reference number P1674490.
