POLICE have released a face-fit of a man seen in the vicinity of an aggravated burglary and an aggravated robbery earlier this year.
On January 11, two men robbed the Crust pizza store on Liardet Street, Weston and on January 28, in an incident police believe are linked, two armed men robbed the IGA Supermarket on Ellerston Avenue, Isabella Plains.
Police say the face-fit is of a man seen in the vicinity of both the robberies.
In the January 11 incident, police believe the men were in a blue sedan driving along Parkinson Street, towards Namatjira Drive, Weston.
The first man is described as about 180cm (6’) tall and of a slim build. During the Weston aggravated robbery he wore a mask, gloves, a grey, hooded jumper, black pants and white shoes. He was carrying a knife in his right hand.
The second man is also described as 180cm (6’) tall and of a slim build. During the Weston robbery he wore a mask, gloves, a black baseball cap, a black jumper and dark pants. He was also carrying a knife.
Anyone who can identify this the face-fit man or has any further information about these incidents that could assist police should call 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
