Storm aftermath: where to avoid

ACT Emergency Services Agency have issued the following list of areas affected by storm water or debris to avoid:

o Pedestrian Underpass Ginninderra Drive and Kingsford Smith, Melba
o Kingsford Smith Drive Southbound, Higgins
o Thurbon Road, Lyneham
o Bringalow Street at Longstaff Street, Lyneham
o Northbourne Avenue at Morphett Street Southbound, Lyneham
o Morphett Street East of Challis Street, Lyneham
o David Street, Turner
o The intersection of McCaughey Street and Condamine Street, Turner
o Parkes Way Westbound just before Anzac Parade, Russell
o Brown Street near the dog park, Yarralumla
o Cotter Road near Equestrian Park, Curtin
o Coppins Crossing, Molonglo River

Oaks Estate low-level crossing and Majura Road from Tambreet Street to Mustang Avenue remain closed until further notice.

The following rural roads and crossings are closed due to inclement weather:

Corin Road is closed from the Woods Reserve locked gate.

Angle Crossing

The unsealed section of Boboyan Road (except four wheel drive vehicles)

The unsealed section of Brindabella Road (except four wheel drive vehicles)

Mount Franklin Road at Bulls Head

Bendora Road

Warks Road

Booroomba Rocks Road

Orroral Ridge Road

Corin Road from Square Rock car park.

Apollo Road

All unsealed roads off the Paddy’s River Road

All unsealed roads off the Brindabella Road
