Two men threaten IGA staff with screwdrivers

TWO men threatened Kambah IGA staff with screwdrivers before leaving with cash, cigarettes and tobacco related products last night (August 22).

The two men, who were wearing balaclava type garments, dark tops and gloves, entered the IGA Supermarket on Castley Circuit at about 8pm.

After the robbery they got into a white, older model ute with a steel tray and yellow NSW registration plates, which was a short distance away, before speeding off.

No one was injured during this incident.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information or dash-cam footage that could assist police to contact 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6300559.
