Two Belconnen accidents cause morning delays

EMERGENCY services were called to two seperate accidents in a 300 metre stretch on Caswell Drive and Gungahlin Drive this morning (July 16). 

At about 7am, firefighters extinguished a car fire in the southbound lane of Caswell Drive near Bandjalong Crescent.

Around the same time they also attended a three car motor vehicle accident in the southbound lane on Gungahlin Drive at the Belconnen Way intersection.

Paramedics assessed three people on scene for minor injuries.

Some traffic delays can be expected southbound on Gungahlin Drive near Belconnen Way.
