A 37-year-old man is facing court on 15 charges following nine commercial burglaries.

It is alleged the man committed two burglaries in Civic and seven in Braddon between Friday, April 17, and Monday, April 20.

Police allege the man forced entry to these businesses, in some cases causing significant damage to the doors, and stolen items including electronics and cash.

He was about 8.30am yesterday (April 21) in Reid and police located items on the man including tools they believe were used during the burglaries.

The man has been charged with nine counts of burglary, three counts of minor theft, one count of theft, going equipped for theft and breach of a good behaviour order.
