Cops find robber hiding in house roof cavity

TWO days after a woman allegedly threatened a petrol station attendant with a knife, police found her hiding in a roof cavity at a home in Yass. 

The 26-year-old Central Coast woman robbed the service station on Comur Street at about 9.45am on Saturday (October 31) where she threatened the attendant with a knife and another item believed to be an electronic stun device, before stealing cash and cigarettes.

She fled on foot and after an investigation was found hiding in a roof cavity at a home in Yass at about 10am today (November 2).

She was arrested and charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon and will face charged at the Goulburn Local Court.
